Samsung announced on September 14 that the Galaxy S26, S26+ and S26 Ultra had joined its US Certified Re-Newed lineup. The company says Samsung engineers assemble the phones with genuine Samsung parts and a new battery. It gives these phones the same one-year limited warranty it offers on new smartphones. Samsung listed starting prices of $759 for S26, $929 for S26+ and $1,099 for S26 Ultra, and said the Certified Re-Newed versions would be available exclusively through Samsung.com.
For a US buyer, this creates a first-party refurbished option alongside ordinary used and open-box listings. That distinction matters because the battery, parts and warranty promises in the announcement come from Samsung itself. Samsung also advertised trade-in credit of up to $720 toward a Certified Re-Newed phone. A buyer comparing prices should look at the full out-of-pocket amount and the particular device’s trade-in quote, not assume the maximum credit applies.
The announcement does not establish live stock for every color or storage configuration, and its starting prices may not describe today’s listing. Samsung says the trade-in offer can change or end. It also says a credit can be charged back if the trade-in is not sent within 15 days or fails eligibility checks. Confirm the current listing, return terms and trade-in conditions before ordering.
